Stevenson Ranch is one of the newest
planned communities in the Santa Clarita Valley. It is not part of the
city of Santa Clarita and has its own town council elected from among
the residents. There is, however, some discussion of it becoming part
of Santa Clarita.

In Stevenson Ranch are neighborhoods of
executive homes, smaller family homes and condos as well as shopping
areas, recreation and lower and middle schools. All the homes are
relatively new and are in architectural variations of what could be
called "California contemporary Mediterranean" style.

There is a neighborhood shopping area along
the Old Road in Stevenson Ranch. Grocery stores, clothing stores,
dry cleaners and many other businesses are located conveniently for
residents.
